Space Ghost は、過去のダンスミュージックから影響を受けながらも、それを現代的なサウンドへと昇華するプロデューサー／ DJ。北カリフォルニア出身で、17 年以上前にオークランドへ移住し、ベイエリアの音楽シーンを代表する存在として活躍している。
彼のDJセットは、90年代のダウンテンポやアンビエントから、R&B、Gファンク、ストリートソウル、そしてシカゴやニューヨークの伝統に根差したディープハウスまでを自在に行き来する。アンビエントとダンスミュージックの境界を横断するスタイルは、グルーヴ感と浮遊感、温かみを兼ね備え、多くの支持を集めている。
これまでに Tartelet、Apron、Pacific Rhythm、PPUなどの名門レーベルから作品を発表。2024年には自身のレーベル「Peace WorldRecords」を設立した。

Space Ghost twists old influences into something fresh. Drawing from obscure dance music of bygone eras, he has carved out a distinct touch on modern electronic music both as a producer and DJ. Hailing from a small town in Northern California, Ghost relocated to Oakland over seventeen years ago where he has since established himself as a staple of the Bay Area’s vibrant music scene. His DJ sets are a refined and captivating thread, moving through everything from 90s downtempo and ambient to r&b, g-funk or street soul, and into deeper house rhythms characterised by Chicago and New York traditions. Walking the line between ambient and dance, Space Ghost has built a cult following with a style equally groove-driven as it is ethereal and grounding – no matter the genre twist. Much in-demand, he’s released a slew of club joints on respected labels such as Tartelet, Apron, Pacific Rhythm and PPU. An extension of his curatorial touch, In 2024 Ghost established his own imprint – Peace World Records. With each release and every set, Space Ghost continues to expand his sonic universe – bridging sounds, and uplifting dance floors every step of the way.
