RYE TENDER × FFKT

We are releasing a collaboration T-shirt with @rye_tender. This piece incorporates ideas that make the most of “mottainai” (waste not, want not) while upcycling usable, high-quality leftover yarn and fabric into new, premium items.

Based on RYE TENDER’s signature “CENTRE TEE,” we’ve created an original color-blocked design from scratch, incorporating FFKT Izu Shirahama’s concept. FFKT embroidery adorns the hem. Long-staple, premium cotton is spun into fine yarn, heavily twisted, and then carefully singed to remove surface fuzz. This achieves an elegant sheen, crisp texture, and a cool, refreshing feel.
While casual in look, it offers the supple comfort unique to knitwear and a pleasant feel against the skin.
Stretch yarn is woven into the collar edge, making it resistant to losing shape and helping it maintain its beautiful form for longer. This highly practical piece is machine washable at home.

It all began with an encounter with leftover yarn at a factory.
Inspired by the structure and freedom of knitting techniques using limited materials, we started small with limited production and direct sales.
Through repeated prototyping and adjustments, we gradually expanded our product range and brand scope. We are now establishing a system to reach more people.
We propose free-spirited knitwear that naturally blends into daily life, regardless of age or gender.
We pursue expressions unique to knitwear while carefully crafting pieces meant to be worn for years.
