Since Akiram EN started his DJ career in the middle of the 90s, he has become a permanent fixture in the Japanese underground scene. His dance sets range from left-field techno to avant-garde and his deep listening sets are inspired by obscure sounds. Akiram EN\u2019s style conjures a place where listeners can deeply experience and perceive his music.
\nHe came into prominence through performing at Japan\u2019s leading festival \u201crural\u201d and techno parties including \u201cFuture Terror\u201d and \u201cMNML SSG\u201d.
\nHis contribution to the underground music scene in Japan is more than just as a DJ. He organizes an infamous weekly deep-listening party \u201cideala\u201d at Forestlimit (the center of Tokyo\u2019s experimental music scene) as well as being a resident DJ of the party \u201cSCI-FI\u201d at SHeLTeR, a highly regarded audiophile venue in the outskirts of Tokyo. He is a champion of local talent, often inviting DJs and diggers from across Japan to play his parties; yet also has a keen interest in the worldwide scene and himself is often featured together with notable names who come to perform in Japan.<\/p>\n
