Jan(GREAT3,Jan Urila Sas) とNaomi によるデュオ。2012年、渋谷百軒店で各々がソロで活動しているときに出会う。
2014年2月、ファーストシングル『A Portrait of the Artis as a Young Man/time』をHot Buttered Recordより7inchレコードで500枚限定リリース。
10月に1st EP『jan,naomi are』を発表し、2015年3月にはサウンド&レコーディング・マガジン Premium Studio Live Vol.9「Crescente Shades」INO hidefumi+jan and naomi を配信リリース。
2016年6月、セカンドEP 『Leeloo and Alexandra』 を携え全国ツアーを敢行。7月、フジロックフェスティバル2016に出演。2017年は、8月にロシア・ウラジオストックで行われたV-ROXフェスティバル、9月には第25回サンセットライブに出演。
アートやファッションとも親和性の高い彼らは、6月にMaison MIHARA YASUHIROの2018/SS ロンドンコレクション「#BLANK MIRRORS」ライブプレゼンテーションに招聘された。
2018年4月18日に初のメジャーニアルバムをカッティングエッジからリリース。映画「来る」(中島哲也監督)などでも楽曲がフィーチャーされるなど活躍の場をひろげている。

A duo by Jan (GREAT3, Jan Urila Sas) and Naomi formed in Shibuya, Tokyo in 2012.
They debuted with 7 inch record “A Portrait of the Artis as a Young Man/time” (Hot Buttered Record, 500 limited edition) and the first EP “jan, naomi are” in 2014.
“Crescente Shades” was released in 2015, it is a collaboration project with INO hidefumi as Premium Studio Live Vol.9 by Sound&Recording Magazine. 2nd EP was released in 2016 and made release tour including Fuji Rock Festival in Japan, V-ROX festival in Vladivostok in Russia, Sunset Live festival in Japan. 1st full album “Fracture” was released in 2018 on Japanese major label – Cutting Edge.
Due to their high affinity music to art, fashion, fashion designer MIHARA YASUHIRO picked them up for live presentation ‘#BLANK MIRRORS’ on 2018/SS London collection, and Japanese film “Kuru” directed by Tetsuya Nakajima featured their music.
Insanity, silence but fleeting and sorrowful melody gets more audience gently charmed.
