東京を拠点に25年以上にわたり活動するDJ。選曲家、プロデューサー、ライターとしても活動するほか、レコード・ストアOrganic Musicや複数のレコード・レーベルも主宰している。2000年代中期にレフトフィールドなディスコを日本のダンス・フロアに紹介した初めてのDJのひとりであり、また、ニューエイジ／アンビエント・ミュージックのエキスパートとしても知られている。ヨーロッパからオセアニア、アメリカ、アジアまで数多くの国でプレイし、ダンスからリスニングまでそのスタイルは極めて幅広い。最新の動向としては、即興音楽家のmiku-mariとともにDJとライブのハイブリッド・パフォーマンスにも積極的に取り組んでいる。

Tokyo based DJ, producer, music writer. Chee Shimizu runs his online record store Organic Music and organizes some record labels. His music selection is across the genre and he is known as an experts of new age / ambient music and one of the leading DJ who introduced left-field disco music to Japanese audience in the mid-2000s. America, Europe, Asia, Oceania…he plays all around world with his borderless selection of dance, ambient music. He also starts hybrid live session with an impromptu perfomer – miku-mari.
